Gerry has made us a better, more cohesive team
While a lot of our work has moved remote, which facilitates deep work and focus, there are times and context when in-person collaboration and facilitation skills are unequalled.
In our recent online and in-person Change maker training series with Gerry and This is HCD, Gerry gave the AIB UX design team the skills and confidence to facilitate and coordinate, to lead the conversation and to lead service design innovations.
By bringing us together to learn and have fun while doing so, I have no doubt our time with Gerry has made us a better, more cohesive team and will ultimately lead to better outcomes for our partners and customers.
Everyone was so well engaged!
Gerry delivered a top quality event for the IRDG Innovation Skillnet on the topic of Mastering Service Design and Journey Mapping.
This was delivered online over 2 half days.
Facilitating over zoom is tough but Gerry’s fun attitude, depth of knowledge & experience, interactive activities and responsiveness kept everyone so well engaged.
The attendees came from a range of different companies but he managed to create an inclusive and collaborative learning experience that facilitated good discussions amongst the group.
I’ve received lots of positive feedback from the participants, which is the ultimate vote of confidence!
Practical Doing whilst learning
Gerry delivered his visualisation for change makers program to our design and product strategy teams here at the Dock.
While the participants had different levels of service design experience, the course provided the everyone with new methods and Gerry’s engaging facilitation approach encouraged peer-learning and collaboration across the team.
